Blemishes

Blemishes are marks or areas of discoloration on the skin. It is a mar in the skin caused by pimples, blocked pores, a skin rash or scarring. In some cases, acne such as whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples may also be referred to as blemishes. Stress and hormonal changes can also cause blemishes.Environmental factors, such as pollution, can irritate the skin and cause blemishes to form. Blemishes can also become worse when they come into contact with irritants such as hair and clothing.

Although considered to be primarily a torment of teenagers, blemishes continue to provide plenty of angst in adulthood, and they can occur in varying degrees of
severity.

There are several factors that contribute to the onset of skin blemishes and these try at home remedies will help you overcome the problem.

1. Mix together 1/2 a teaspoon of olive oil and 1/4 teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply on the blemishes ,and after 15 minutes wash off.

2.Grind a few mint leaves with a little amount of rose water and apply it at night and wash it off the next morning or apply it during day time and wash after 2 hours.

3.Add a little carrot juice and orange juice to a cup of milk. Rub this on the marks and in course of time the marks will gradually disappear.

4 Another method is to massage the face with the skin of lemon before washing with lukewarm water.

5.Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. At least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables should be included in your diet.

6.Aloe Vera juice applied twice a day can greatly speed up the healing of acne lesions.

7.Apply tomato and lime juice over the blemishes for 20 - 25 minutes and wash it off.
